Terms of use
What you can expect from Wiso Savings, and the terms for using our website.
Draft updated
1. Who we are
Wiso Savings is operated by WISO LTD, registered in Scotland under company number SC906947. Registered office: 50 Briarcroft Road, Glasgow, United Kingdom, G33 1RB. Email: info@wisosavings.com.
2. Our service and the current preview
Wiso Savings is developing a service to help UK households explore energy deals. The current website is a preview: live comparisons, switching and partner login are not available. You can send contact enquiries and register interest in a future partnership. Broadband and mobile comparison services are also not available yet.
Sending an enquiry or registering partnership interest does not create a partnership agreement. Using the preview does not obtain a quote, start a switch, create an account or enter you into a supply contract. Selecting a bill or entering a postcode does not send that information to us. Please do not rely on the preview to make or cancel a supply arrangement.
3. Information, availability and savings
Website content is general information, not a personalised recommendation or a guarantee of savings. Any future quote will depend on your address, usage, eligibility, supplier availability and the terms applicable at the time. Check a provider’s full prices, fees, contract length, price changes and cancellation conditions before agreeing to a deal.
We aim to keep information accurate and correct errors when identified. We may update or withdraw preview features. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every provider or tariff will be included in a future comparison service.
4. Fees, commission and partners
There is no charge to use this preview. No supplier purchases or switches are processed through it.
When live referral services are introduced, we may receive commission for eligible purchases or switches. Any relevant commercial relationships, advertising and effects on how results are presented will be explained where you encounter them. References to supporting organisations describe a planned programme; the preview does not create an entitlement to commission, donations or rewards.
5. Other websites and supplier contracts
External websites have their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not by itself mean we endorse all of that website’s content. If you later buy a service from a supplier, your supply contract will be with that supplier, under its terms. Nothing on this preview authorises us to act for you or a supplier.
6. Using this website
You may browse the website and save or print material for your personal reference. Please use it lawfully, respect other people’s rights and only select documents you are entitled to use.
Do not introduce malicious software, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the website or use our branding to suggest an affiliation that does not exist. Website content and branding belong to us or our licensors unless stated otherwise. These terms do not restrict uses permitted by law.
7. Your information
Our Privacy policy explains how information is handled, including local form interactions and infrastructure processing. Our Cookies policy explains browser storage and Cloudflare security features. Using the website does not amount to consent to optional tracking or marketing.
8. Responsibility and your rights
Please take reasonable care when using online information and check final terms directly with a supplier. We are not responsible for a supplier’s performance merely because it is mentioned or linked on our website; this does not exclude responsibility for our own acts or omissions where the law imposes it.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
9. Changes, questions and disputes
We may revise these terms as the service develops and will update the date above. New services may have additional terms presented before you use them. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights you already have.
For questions or complaints, email info@wisosavings.com with enough detail for us to investigate. These terms are governed by Scots law. If you are a consumer, you retain mandatory protections and the right to bring proceedings in the courts available to you under the law where you live.
